HPV Vaccine Can Save Lives - Brook Welcomes Details Of The Vaccination Programme, UK
Responding to the announcement by the Department of Health of details of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programme Simon Blake, Chief Executive of Brook, said: "Brook welcomes confirmation of the details of the HPV vaccination programme from September 2008 that will offer all girls aged 12-13 years vaccination against HPV viruses 16 and 18, the types that lead to increased risk of cervical cancer.
